Profile Lock has arrived on Netflix

Netflix has launched a new feature that allows you to add a custom lock to each of the membership profiles. A new feature to improve parental control also helps ensure account privacy with a 4-digit pin code that can be added to the profile.

Assigning passwords specifically to profiles is currently only available from the web browser. Can't put passwords with the iPhone or iPad app, but after creating a password from the website, passwords are instantly active during profile selection from the iPad, iPhone, or Apple TV app.

Adult levels by country except for the password feature, it is also possible to set up automatic continuous play in child profiles and block it based on the name of the content.


To create a profile-specific password, simply sign in to the Netflix account and select the profile, download the pull-down menu next to the profile in the top right corner, under "Account", then under "Profile and parental controls" on the following screen, and select "Profile Lock" and set the password.
