WhatsApp works for advanced search options and other new features

WhatsApp has recently gained a lot of new features. Most of these are based on a desire to prevent the spread of false information in the fight against a coronavirus outbreak. However, there is still a continuing effort to innovate in WhatsApp regardless of the situation. The latest beta for the service's Android app is a clue to some of the upcoming features that will be added to WhatsApp.


The first of these features is referred to as “advanced search mode”. This feature will make it possible for users to search for received or sent content based on their format (photos, videos, GIFs, links, audio files).

Still in development for Android users, it's already in beta on iOS. However, it remains unclear when the feature will open to all users. This feature can be said to be useful for those who receive a lot of messages and find the content they are looking for.
